Our award-winning EdD in Learning and Organizational Change Leadership program empowers leaders to drive positive change spanning various disciplines. Grounded in principles of teaching and learning, our online doctoral program empowers students to lead change in many organizations, from schools to businesses to non-profits and beyond.
Designed for working professionals, our online MS in Learning Design and Technology and Certifications in both Learning Design and Technology and Online Teaching programs equip you with the skills to create digital learning experiences across various sectors. Our programs combine theory, practical projects, and emerging technologies to prepare graduates for a growing job market.
The Department of Educational Leadership offers two tracks for their online Masters of Arts in School Leadership program: one for Texas principal certification and one for independent schools. Online plus on-campus Immersions for working educators. Coursework completed in a year, with capstone to follow. 30 hours, including capstone.

Baylor University's Moody School of Education offers a fully online Graduate Certificate in Learning Design and Technology for working professionals. This 12-credit-hour credential in instructional design and digital learning can be completed in four to eight months without a career pause or relocation.
Dr. Veronica Narváez, EdD ’25, earned the 2025–2026 Problem of Practice Dissertation of the Year Award for her mixed methods study examining how Lean implementation shapes workplace empowerment for women practitioners. Her research addresses a critical gap in organizational scholarship and offers actionable insights for building more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable work environments across industries.
International service learning is a cornerstone of the traditional Baylor experience, but a recent trip to Costa Rica marked a significant evolution for the Moody School of Education. Students from the online Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change (EdD-LOC) program partnered with the nonprofit One More Child and leveraged their decades of professional leadership experience to provide high-level training for nonprofit volunteers, educators, and church leaders in Costa Rica.
