Professional Summary
Dr. Eddie Peña is a Graduate Enrollment Manager in the Professional Online Learning unit in Baylor Universty’s Moody School of Education. Mrs. Thomason supports prospective students for the Learning and Organizational Change, Learning Design and Technology, School Psychology, Educational Psychology and Curriculum and Instruction programs. A graduate of the EdD-LOC program, Eddie brings over 10 years of higher education experience in student support services and enrollment management to provide a space where students can succeed.
Dr. Peña has advised Fortune 500 and national law firms on their human capital sustainability issues, ESG strategy, and educational attainment investments and growth pipelines. Eddie was previously employed with a non-profit organization that sought to advance the hiring, retention, and promotion of diverse lawyers and counsel through various research-driven ideologies.
Eddie has worked for institutions of higher education for over 10 years and corporations in varying capacities to aid in the growth of organizations and educational attainment and outcomes. Originally from Cali, Colombia, Eddie, and his mother crossed the border for better opportunities and earned their US citizenship. Eddie utilizes his life experiences and knowledge of corporate America to engage with C-Suite and educational stakeholders on how to drive various equity initiatives that serve various groups.
Eddie was raised in New York City and currently holds a doctorate degree in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University.
