Professional Summary

Dr. Elizabeth Anne Murray serves as Senior Academic Writing Consultant in the Research and Writing Development Center (RWDC) within the EdD in Learning and Organizational Change program and also as an Associate Graduate Faculty at Baylor University. Dr. Murray also teaches LOC 6391/6392: Problem of Practice Phase 1 and 2 in the EdD-LOC program. Before joining the RWDC, Dr. Murray worked as a postdoctoral fellow for the EdD-LOC and taught courses in Baylor's secondary education program.

Dr. Murray is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Delta Kappa, and while at the University of Alabama, she was recognized for both her outstanding teaching and research. She was a 2019 recipient of the MSERA Research in Progress Award and her work received an Outstanding Dissertation Award honorable mention from the University of Alabama. Dr. Murray's journey to academia began while teaching middle school ELA and watching her students navigate big questions born from reading books. In her free time, Murray enjoys spending time with her family, trying new recipes, and being outdoors.
