Professional Summary

Dr. Ryann N. Shelton is a Senior Lecturer in Baylor's Moody School of Education’s Professional Online Learning Unit and faculty advisor in the EdD in Learning and Organizational Change program. She is a member of the graduate faculty and has advised students across several cohorts, including C6, C8, C12, and C17. Dr. Shelton is also the lead instructor for EDC 6360: Instructional Design, which focuses on how to create organizational change through high-quality learning opportunities in workplace training. Dr. Shelton's research interests include teacher education and doctoral education. She is a member of the School Mathematics and Science Association (SSMA) and the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED). Her recent work includes co-authoring journal articles with several EdD-LOC alumni, with a focus on teaching and learning in both K–12 education and higher education, as well as publications focused on doctoral education.
