Professional Summary

Dr. Christie Bledsoe is a Lecturer in Baylor's Moody School of Education’s Professional Online Learning Unit and faculty advisor in the EdD in Learning and Organizational Change program. Dr. Bledsoe teaches and serves as a Faculty Advisor in the EdD in Learning and Organizational Change. She teaches leadership courses and supports students throughout the dissertation process.

With more than 30 years of professional experience in P–12 and higher education, Dr. Bledsoe brings both scholarly and practitioner expertise to her work. Her experience as an assistant superintendent provides a rich context for teaching and modeling effective leadership principles. When mentoring graduate students, she enjoys learning with and from them as professionals exploring dissertation topics across education, the military, nonprofit organizations, and faith-based institutions. Dr. Bledsoe is a lifelong learner committed to encouraging others as professionals, scholars, and engaged community members.
